Thanks to all who voted on the next statue in our Mass Effect line. We really appreciate your involvement and your comments. So really no surprise here: Saren, the rogue Spectre agent, will be the second Mass Effect statue.

We hope to reveal a head sculpt in the next few weeks. And we’ll open pre-orders at that time. Bioware has really gone all out with this one, and has supplied us with some phenomenal control art of Saren so that we can bring you the most accurate representation possible.

Other updates: Commander Shepard is in final production right now so he should be done by end of May and shipping shortly after. We’ve had a pretty good response so far, so if you haven’t ordered yours yet please do so at the HighDome site. Or feel free to contact one of our international resellers.

While we are working on Saren, we also want to continue with the voting and see who you want to see next - so we’ve taken out Saren and put in Ashley, Liara and a Geth into the line-up this time. So click here to go and vote on the 6 contestants who are up for a shot at being the third Mass Effect character statue.

We have a few more surprises in line that we can hopefully announce soon. And stay tuned to the Bioware site for new announcements as they run up to their May 28th release date of Mass Effect on PC and for the rest of 2008.

Does this mean Wrex will be the next statue in line? Glad to hear Liara is now being considered; I’d love to have a statue of her. ha, and poor Kaiden really gets no love anywhere ;P

We think Kaiden would score the lowest with these other characters in the running, but he’s still a possibility down the road.

Perhaps the Saren statue will have him standing on his hovercraft thingy seen in the game?
I believe the statue will turn out awesome but I think you guys should pay more attention to the design of the base this time around - the Shepard statue had a terrible base; it’s as if he was standing on a $2 hockey puck, and looks out of place for a $90 statue.

Depending on how Saren comes along, I may actually pick him up. I’ll pass on Shepard for now… not quite what I was looking for. But Saren has potential. A more dynamic pose may be in order for this next one. I admire the work you guys are doing though. Certainly keep it up! Any Mass Effect statue is better than no Mass Effect statue. I look forward to watching the Saren sculpt develop.

I am hoping for 1) a more dynamic pose, 2) Spectre weapons painted in black! On top of that he should look like the cold, calculating, ruthless bastard he is.

    Hi Hyperchild,

Thanks for the update. Looking forward to the release of Shepard.

I would really love to know if there are any plans to release large scale models of the ships and other craft from Mass Effect? I would really love my own Normandy and I am sure there would be other fans out there that share a similar interest.

Is this something that Hyperchild are considering, or is it too early to tell?

    Many thanks,

    Michael

is it possible down the road you can model a statue of commander shepard based on our own appearance ? i am sure a LOT of gamers if not all would want that more than anything.
