Shepard: Final Statue and Box

Here is the final box and statue shot of the Commander Shepard statue for you all to check out.
We’ve been sending out all the HighDome.com pre-orders already, but there are alot so please be patient as we get them out as quickly as possible. Hope the images here can hold you over for a little while longer.
Now that Shepard is complete we’ll be concentrating on Saren who is already under development and we’ll be bringing you early sculpting images of the rogue Specter agent himself in August.

Wow - thanks I finally got mine in the mail today and wanted to chime in here with some praise. I see that some of the kinks got worked out from the images here to the final piece like the proper rifle is in the backpack rather than another version of the rifle in his hand.
the paint is great and the overall look is exactly what I wanted - I’m looking forward to the Saren so I can use these 2 to bookend my Mass Effect 360 game, my PC version and the art book I got.
I received my statue today in the mail and I must say I’m not entirely impressed. Some obvious details that were left off.
Namely Shepard being left handed, and the fact that the sniper rifle is on the opposite side as well. People mentioned this before and it’s not a huge deal but when you’re paying good money for something little things make a big difference.
My other problem is the lack of a shotgun on the small of his back, and no pistol holstered on his hip. This is the sort of thing that is always on Shepard during the game and the lack of it here really stands out.
The paint is decent, even if the face doesn’t quite match that of Mark Vanderloo. Nice scuffs and such detailed on the armor which is painted overall.
Im still waiting for mine to be shipped.

Its gonna be really funny when they fix it …Shepard will be the only one with his weapons on wrong …Hey shepard when did you become left handed ? LoL.
Its a little annoying but im extremely happy with my statue and im looking forward to getting the next one.

The artwork we got from BioWare as well as their final approval all had the gun on Shepard the way we have it in the statue. Since we follow what BioWare wants we can accept this I hope.
We decided on the basic John Shepard because obviously casting him in the millions of possibilities is impossible. We chose the one that is featured on the game case and in-game since that face is the most recognizable as BioWare has marketed the game with that face specifically for Shepard.
Lastly, we included as many weapons as we could for now. We’ll revisit another Shepard with a different armor and more weapons if the collector base allows us to produce more.
We hope to improve on these small technical details going forward with the next statues.

Just got mine today and while I can live with the face not being entirely accurate to the one that’s depicted on the box itself I do have one problem. The gun that’s attached to the back was broken off when I got it and was lieing in the little plastic back he’s in. It would’ve been handy if that had been packed separately as well for easy attachment. now I have to fiddle around with some glue
got my statue yesterday
i had pre-ordered it since march and now im happy to have commander shepard finally displayed in my room.
the statue is super detailed painted and im happy that it has “survived” the long journey to austria!

How about Ashley Williams? I’m sure that she is popular enough in Mass Effect to make her statue.
