“October 1, 2007 – BioWare Corp.®, the makers of the highly anticipated Xbox 360™ game, Mass Effect, is pleased to announce a new line of statues based on the most eagerly anticipated Xbox 360 action-RPG game of 2007, BioWare’s MASS EFFECT™. These highly-detailed, polyresin statues will be created by Hyperchild.
Mass Effect is a science-fiction action-RPG in development exclusively for the Xbox 360 video game system and will deliver an immersive, story-driven gameplay experience with stunning visual fidelity. BioWare is the commercially and critically acclaimed developer of Jade Empire™, Neverwinter Nights™ and Star Wars®: Knights of the Old Republic™. Hyperchild, known for its design work with the Marvel Saga and The Deviants, is turning its distinct talents towards bringing the amazing characters of Mass Effect to life with a line of highly collectible, limited-edition statues with the first one to be released by the end of the year with more to follow in 2008. The first statue will be the main character, Commander Shepard of the SS Normandy, the hero you will customize and navigate through the universe of Mass Effect. This fully painted cold-cast polyresin statue will be strictly limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide and begins shipping in the December 2007.
