Hyperchild May 13th, 2008

Thanks to all who voted on the next statue in our Mass Effect line. We really appreciate your involvement and your comments. So really no surprise here: Saren, the rogue Spectre agent, will be the second Mass Effect statue.

We hope to reveal a head sculpt in the next few weeks. And we’ll open pre-orders at that time. Bioware has really gone all out with this one, and has supplied us with some phenomenal control art of Saren so that we can bring you the most accurate representation possible.

Other updates: Commander Shepard is in final production right now so he should be done by end of May and shipping shortly after. We’ve had a pretty good response so far, so if you haven’t ordered yours yet please do so at the HighDome site. Or feel free to contact one of our international resellers.

While we are working on Saren, we also want to continue with the voting and see who you want to see next - so we’ve taken out Saren and put in Ashley, Liara and a Geth into the line-up this time. So click here to go and vote on the 6 contestants who are up for a shot at being the third Mass Effect character statue.

We have a few more surprises in line that we can hopefully announce soon. And stay tuned to the Bioware site for new announcements as they run up to their May 28th release date of Mass Effect on PC and for the rest of 2008.

Mass Effect Combat Scenario Video

admin November 3rd, 2007

Even though Mass Effect is one of the most hyped games of the year, the typical Xbox crowd seems to think this is just another RPG video game. They are dead wrong as you’ll see in this Combat Scenario video featured at GameVideos.com. Watch as Commander Shepard has so many tactical options to down his enemy. Mass Effect is showing to be far more than just a real-time RPG.

HCThis will be the place to follow the development of all Hyperchild projects going forward. We are big fans of behind-the-scenes stuff for movies and games, so we thought this would be an ideal place and time to start showcasing the development process on things we do from collectibles to webcomics and even cooking recipes.

So please bookmark this site or set up your RSS feed to suck our posts in. We use Netvibes as our homepage that collects all our feeds and we highly recommend it, but you can also just use Gmail Reader or Yahoo! Mail as well.

OK on with the show…
